My very first maternity session is officially being blogged! ;)
Melissa was referred to me by Katrina Tynes. Katrina had her family portraits taken, followed with a couples session a couple months ago. I was so excited when Melissa contacted me because my camera and I have been wanting to get some exposure with maternity work! We spent a lot of time discussing where the session should take place & what to bring for props, etc... I must say, I'm quite pleased with the way this session turned out. More than pleased, actually! Considering it was my first ;)

2011 Holidays-- Pricing Special! {Tucson Photographer}

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving holiday! For those of you that ventured out for Black Friday shopping; I hope you all walked away from the madness with no injuries! ;-)

I am expecting major improvements for my business with the introduction of 2012! A lot of positive things are in the works right now. Very exciting!
-With that being said, I'd like to extend special pricing for the remainder of 2011! Here are the details:

*10-15 fully enhanced digital images, copyright privileges, images provided on a disk: $150
**Session date must be booked by December 31, 2011 and session date must take place before January 31, 2012. (What a great Christmas gift this would be!) $50 non-refundable deposit is due upon scheduling of your session, to hold your date.**

They've got it ALL! {Tucson Couples Photographer, Tucson Engagement Photographer}

I met Dorthy when I was in Cosmetology School. She was my instructor & boy, did I learn a lot from her! I was a straight A student & "Ms. D" pushed me to the limit, so that I was able to achieve good grades & understand what I was learning to it's potential.
Although, I am no longer a Cosmetology student, I still keep in touch with the fabulous Ms. D! She is too much fun to NOT stay in contact with.
I was a little nervous about this session since I had never photographed any couples before and it was a new location for me. But, I am totally in love with these images! Aren't they a gorgeous couple? Must be nice to have it all, right? ;) I didn't post all the images, since some of them were specifically for Christmas cards...don't want to ruin the Christmas surprise! ;)

Ms. D, you are totally rockin' it, girl! Thank you so much for trusting me with your first portraits as a couple!

Trick or Treat Bags! SO CUTE!!

Halloween is on Monday! Are you ready? ;)
How about topping the cute lil costumes off with a custom trick-or-treat bag?! These are awesome! I made these the last 2 years for my kiddos and got TONS of compliments...And even got an extra handful of candy at a few doors, just for having a cute bag!

Here are some examples of the ones I've made! You can also turn the pattern to make it horizontal (hamburger style) VS vertical (hotdog style)....I liked making them vertical because I found it's easier for the little hands to hold on to. The horizontal ones were too wide and too hard to handle- especially once the bags get candy in them!

Soft Baby/Toddler Shoe Tutorial {Tucson Photographer, Vail Photographer}

This is such an easy and GREAT gift idea! I've made these shoes the last couple of years for my baby girls, nieces/nephews & friends. These are so soft & so comfortable! Last year I made an Orange pair to go with my daughter's Duck costume. She got a lot of compliments on her personalized Duck shoes! :)
If would like to make several (larger) sizes, just take the pattern to a Kinkos/OfficeMax and use the copy machine to blow the pattern up to the size you need!

The sweet ADAMS Family! {Tucson Family Photographer, Tucson Childrens Photographer}

Meet the Adams family! What a nice family this is!  Katrina (AKA: Mom) is my husband's cousin, so I was really excited when she contacted me to do some family portraits for her. They've never had any portraits done as a family of 4. Family portraits for this family were much needed & looong over do! But, look at how CUTE they turned out!

I'd say it was worth the wait ;)

Katrina said she wanted to focus more on the kiddos for this session & she scheduled a second 'couples' session for her and Matt (AKA: Dad) to get more intimate portraits done. (Can't wait!)
Seriously, this brother-sister duo is just the sweetest. Ever!

Braedynn just turned 3 and had never had any professional portraits taken of him. I made sure to put him in the 'spot light'-- he was ROCKIN' that spot light!

And Hannah is such a WONDERFUL big sister. Holy cow! Total sweety to boot! She was hammnin' up those poses for me and I just loved her attitude :)

Katrina, your disk is ready with all your beautiful images! I hope you enjoy these photos for years to come!
